Coming home doesn't mean the battle is over. With over 10 times the amount of veterans lost to suicide than to combat operations in the same time period, there has never been a more important time to TAKE A STAND and DO something to support our veterans!! If you or someone you know is suffering from PTSD, we have people that have shared a similar experience and are ready to help.
Our Post is located in West Des Moines, Iowa. We received our Charter on January 6th, 1947 and are named in honor of John Emerick and Harrison Williams - both Veterans who were killed in WWII.
Our current membership is 71 veterans from World War II through the Afghanistan and Iraq conflict in the Global War on Terrorism. We meet on the first Monday of the month (except January, July and September in 2018) at 7:00 pm in the West Des Moines Community Center, 217 5th St., West Des Moines, IA 50265
